In the world of online FPS, one of the oldest and most influential titles is unarguably Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. For years CS:GO has been the go-to title for online shooter enthusiasts and professional tournaments. Being such a beloved title, the community pours its hearts into the game. 

Now to make the legacy of Counter-Strike reach a newer height, developers at Valve have decided to rebuild the Counter-Strike game in a modern shell with CS 2. To celebrate the occasion and the legacy of the iconic game, an avid fan has taken the responsibility of making a virtual museum. 

A fan-made Counter-Strike museum is a sight for the fans!

On Twitter, eSports journalist Jake Lucky posted a Tweet about an enthusiastic fan who built an entirely virtual museum in order to show off some of the rarest and most expensive skins. In his Tweet, Jake shared a short video, showcasing some of the potential skins that will be showcased in the museum. 

The name of the creator is Ojer, and it is a very early project. “The goal is to make a completely digital display that people can visit and see all the most historic skins in CS, will take quite some time,” said Jake in his Twitter report. So far, the creator hasn’t shared any estimated date or deadline for the project’s end, but he has shared some other details.

“Out of all the displays in the csgo museum project, a handful have gottan special treatment, and will be auctioned off,” said Ojar, saying among all the displays that will be shown in them will get special treatment. Users can book a spot for the special showcases by participating in the auction to showcase their skins.

The creator hasn’t revealed what skins could be displayed in the museum, but according to the reveal, some of the rarest and most expensive skins will grace the podiums. While there a few on the list, here are some of the most expensive and rare skins of CS:GO, that have the potential to be displayed in the museum:-

1. AK-47 | Fire Serpent — $400 – $10,000
2. AWP | Gungnir — $4,000 – $12,000
3. Talon Knife | Crimson Web — $400 – $5,000
4. M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web — $600 – $11,000
5. Butterfly Knife | Lore — $1,000 – $15,000
6. AK-47 | Wild Lotus — $2,400 – $10,000
7. M4A4 | Howl — $3,200 – $30,000
8. Karambit | Case Hardened — $620 – $1,200,000
9. Sport Gloves | Pandora’s Box — $1,199 – $20,000
10. AK-47 | Case Hardened — $110 – $150,000
