Dead Space Remake was released earlier this year to a positive critical and commercial response. Critics loved it, and fans could not believe that they had finally gotten a Dead Space game after all these years. The rumors of a sequel have already started sprouting. But fans cannot help but wonder whether EA also remakes Dead Space 3.

Dead Space was EA’s take on the action-horror franchise that caught popularity with Resident Evil 4 back in the day. And these games did pretty well too. Eventually, though, EA’s way of doing things caught on with the Dead Space series, and they asked developers to make a weird number change to it. This marked the end of the franchise. Now that it has made a comeback, one wonders: what would it take for creators to redo Dead Space 3?

Players were now able to explore the whole USG Ishimura, the setting of the game, without any load screens.

This has sparked a conversation amongst the fans of the series. Would there be a sequel? And what about the remake of the controversial third game? While there’s no news on that front yet, the producer of the original Dead Space 3 has finally opened up about how he would go about remaking the third game.

This expansion added co-op mode to the game and some ridiculous action set pieces that did not fit so well with that title. It would be interesting to see the original developer’s approach to the third game if EA ever greenlights it.
