In a recent interview with Variety, John Carpenter teased a potential movie adaptation is already in the works. Talking about his contributions in the upcoming, highly-anticipated Dead Space 2, Carpenter opened up about a live-action adaptation of this horrific gaming franchise for the big screens.
However, even if this tease is actually true and there is a potential movie being developed, it won’t be directed by the legend. John said, “I’m not gonna do it. I think they already have another director involved. And they haven’t asked me to do it. So, until someone asks me, I wouldn’t do it. But there’s a new version of the Dead Space video game coming out in January, and I’m there”.
