Those who follow Ludwig for a long time might be aware of his passion for Pokemon. He also has the hobby of collecting Pokemon cards and posses lots of them. Further, he has gifted a lot of Pokemon cards to his friends, and Valkyrae was one of them.

But on a recent live stream, Valkyrae sold a rare Pokemon card, and, and she did it in front of the who she got it. That collectible card was given to her by none other than Ludwig Ahgren. But now you might wonder why Valkyrae would sell Ludwig’s gift.

Why Valkyrae sold Ludwig’s gift?

Valkyrae recently hosted an auction with her fellow streamers, Fuslie, kkatamina, Yvonnie, and Sykkuno. Further, Ludwig was also in this stream as an auctioneer. In this event, all the roommates auctioned five personal objects and the money they got from the auction went to a charity.

So everyone got something special like clothes, action figures or even a signed “mustard” bottle. But one of the objects at the auction hurt the auctioneer, as it was a gift that he gave to Valkyrae. The 30-year-old was auctioning a Pokemon card. But then she remembered it could have been given to her by Ludwig and asked him, “Did I get this from you?”

It left everyone in the room speechless, especially Ludwig, who wasn’t happy seeing that in the auction. Further, Rae messed up the description of the card and it infuriated the 27-year-old even more. Then Ludwig told angrily it was a Reverse Holo Squirtle card from the Legendary Collection.

Ludwig further explained to Valkyrae about the rare Pokemon card, “It’s the first-ever reprint that Pokemon did when they were still with Wizards of the Coast back at peak of the Pokemon boom. All right, this is a reprint. You don’t even know what you’re talking about.”

It seems the card eventually sold for something around $405. Undoubtedly, it was a great price for the card, but do you think Ludwig would ever gift a Pokemon card or anything else to Valkyrae?
