Now that Peter Parker looks to step down from his role as the friendly neighbor, Miles has his hands full with the task of protecting NYC. A cutscene from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 exposes Morales to a bigger universe after collecting all the spider-bots.
The scenario shows Miles coming across a hexagonal portal into the Spider-verse as he has his first interaction with Delilah. While we wait to see how things unfold, a future DLC or Easter Egg containing more Spider-verse content may be on the table.
While Delilah was ultimately cut from the 2023 animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the character remains an important part of the entire narrative. A bartender at the Bar With No Name, Delilah is a tough character who doesn’t get fazed easily. The cutscene shows Delilah casually taking off the Spider-bots from Miles using a box and stating “finders keepers“.

The game hints at a lot of future possibilities
Recently, the community got to that Insomniac Games might have plans for a potential Venom spin-off game in the future. The narrative director Doug Bowser claimed that the devs are focused on learning the reviews for the game and would decide on the Venom game accordingly. Along with that, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 also hinted that Doctor Strange might make an appearance in the game in the future as well.
