The Valorant community has lately been exposed to a new map, a new skin bundle, and a new episode altogether. Something that was also prevalent was the transfer of players to teams that were qualified for the upcoming 2023 VCT season. Out of all the developments, one that attracted many eyes was of ShahZam getting dropped from the Sentinels roster. But it seems the two parties have unearthed revelations that even made FPS veteran and former Sentinels guest player Shroud shocked.

Currently, Sentinels prepare for the season they have ahead of themselves with a new roster. Whereas, ShahZam and Dapr will be continuing their career in G2 Esports. While everything seemed to be at peace, a tweet made by Sentinels snowballed what the community didn’t see coming.

In Sentinel’s recent tweet, SyykoNT, and TenZ were seen spinning a wheel with the cursor landing on “TenZ Go Kill!,” and the former saying that it wouldn’t work this year. This tweet did receive a reply from ShahZam.

He said, “oh yeah, one time I spun the wheel and it landed on “please play with shroud, we don’t care if you win just to make it hype. we’ll personally guarantee you a spot in franchising if you do.”” While ShahZam recalled the time Shroud appeared on the Sentinels Valorant roster for LCQ, these two tweets snowballed into something that the community wasn’t predicting to witness.

To ShahZam’s tweet, Sentinels did give a fun jab by saying that his statement wouldn’t fit on the spin wheel. But what attracted more eyes was Sentinels CEO Rob Moore joining the tweet thread and giving his take on the situation of ShahZam’s transfer.

He said, “@ShahZaMk It’s weird that since you left all you talk about is how you want to be with the organization, when for all of 2022 you behaved like you didn’t want to be here. It seems like you have returned to the focus you had in 2021. If so, @G2esports will be in great hands.”

These comments snowballed further to the former Sentinels player saying, “are you actually going to deny promising me a spot if i did you this “huge favor”? you can own up to it and do better. don’t lie to your players. best of luck to you and your new team.” To this, Moore stated that he did no such promises.

While this was already sending shockwaves to the community, Shroud was left stunned and at the loss for words to see the revelations. In a cryptic manner, he stated that he didn’t know about any of this.

Though these revelations are nothing but surprising as such personal takes do stir the crowd into thinking about what actually had happened. It is expected the communications lead to a conjoined point where takes from both parties reach a satisfied end.
