Many big names are getting overshadowed by the king of YouTube in the Streamy Award nominations. So far MrBeast is standing as the top nominee in the Streamer of the Year genre, in the 2022 award show. It would be the third consecutive win for the YouTuber if he manages to take it home this year. 

The Streamy Award or simply known as the Streamys, is an award presented every year to excellence in online video content creators. According to the official website it is defined as, “Nominees and Winners of the Streamy Awards include individuals and organizations with global audiences making some of the most innovative and well-watched programming in the world.”

MrBeast dominates the Streamy Nominations 2022

MrBeast is currently the top nominee for the YouTube Streamy Awards. It is his second year as the top nominee. So far Beast has accumulated seven nods including, creator of the year, collaboration, creator for social good and creator product, and editing. This year is the opportunity for MrBeast to win the Creator of the Year award for the third consecutive time.

Other than internet celebrities, the “crossover” award has some of the most well-known figures in the entertainment industry, including:

According to the award description, the crossover award, “recognizes public figures embracing digital culture and demonstrating best practices.”

The streamer of the year award showcase all the prominent aspects of online content creation, such as vlogging, fitness, gaming, and lifestyle.

#TeamSeas, Blogilates, Brandon Rogers, Harry Potter, HasanAbi, Kai Cenat, Kallmekris, Logan Paul, Ludwig, Markiplier, RDCWorld, SpongeBob, and UNHhhh • WOWPresents each have been presented with three nods. 

The MC of the event will be Airrack. In just three years, Airrack has surpassed 10 Million subscribers on YouTube. So far he has three nominations, including- creator of the year, first person, and editing.

The Streamy Award will be held at Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on Dec. 4. They will also stream it live on YouTube at YouTube.com/Streamys. This year, the award has introduced brand new categories such as streamer of the year, breakout streamer, competitive gamer, and variety streamer. There are also many awards allotted to Vtuber, (content creators who use virtual avatars).
