Epic Games Shocks Fortnite Fans by Infusing “Rap God” Eminem’s Energy Into the Popular Game

When it comes to collaborations, Fortnite takes the crown. The online battle royale game has collaborated with big-name shows, movies, and famous personalities. Recentlly, Fortnite came up with another fascinating collaboration that would have the Fortnite fans sing for a moment alongside the god of rappers.

Epic Games developed this online battle royale multiplayer and released it in 2017. Soon after its release, the game had a colossal fanbase as it took over the gaming community. The growing community had the developers find unique ways to keep the game alive among the fans. So, the best way they found was crossovers.

Fortnite has collaborated with famous movies and shows. The game introduced characters like Captain America, Thor, The Rock, and Naruto. Further, the 2017 battle royale also recently collaborated with the famous anime series Dragon Ball Z and had characters like Goku and Vegeta in the game. The game is back with another such collaboration, but this time with a real-world personality instead of a fictional character.

The ‘Rap God’ Eminem finds a way into Fortnite

Fortnite collaborated with not only TV series and movies but also famous musicians. The online battle royale game joined hands with Travis Scott and Ariana Grande to host in-game concerts. Moreover, both the singers also got their own skins and emotes. Also, there were rumors about collaborations with Grammy winners like Rihanna and Lady Gaga. However, these two didn’t happen, but they got another Grammy winner for a collaboration.

Fortnite dropped the massive bomb about them collaborating with the 15-time Grammy winner Eminem. Marshall Mathers, popularly known as Eminem and Slim Shady, is one of the best rappers. He has many hit songs like The Real Slim Shady,’ ‘Rap God,’ and ‘Godzilla.’ Some of these famous Eminem songs would now be added to the lists on the in-game radio. However, Fortnite will not be introducing any skins or emotes like the other artists.

The announcement about Eminem’s songs playing on the in-game radio split the fandom. Some are not only happy about the news but are also eagerly waiting to hear news about the Rap God’s skin and emote. However, some fans didn’t find this collaboration with Fortnite much appealing.
