Out of all the crazy things that one can do, a Cypriot YouTuber, who goes by the name Fidias, took up the amusing task of hugging 100 celebrities. From MrBeast to Andrew Garfield, the YouTuber has achieved 99 hugs but stands just one away. As a matter of fact that one remaining hug happens to be with Twitter boss Elon Musk which as it seems could happen at last.

For months, the YouTuber has been camping outside SpaceX and then to Twitter HQ to share a hug with the business tycoon. Due to the Twitter boss’ dedicated work ethic and busy schedule, the YouTuber’s goal seemed to not have been met.

In an attempt to realize this goal Fidias asked twitter users to spam Musk’s mother on the platform. This did not sit well with her. Elon’s mother Maye Musk went on Twitter to address this and advised Elon against hugging the Youtuber.  However, the situation didn’t escalate to worrying levels.

MrBeast, who is also a close confidant of Elon, advised the Fidias to drop his idea. But it seems after all the thorns of struggle, patience, and dedication, he could finally get the chance to give a concluding note to his goal of hugging 100 celebrities.

Had it been any other video, one would have understood dropping it. However, this is not the case with Fidias as he is accustomed to doing extreme challenges. “I Survived 7 Days Alone In A Dangerous Forest“, “I Spent 100 Hours Inside a Hamster Ball“, and “I Spent 24 Hours Buried Alive“, are some videos done by him that sum up his content creation style.

Resembling the ‘hugging 100 celebrities’ concept, he also did a video titled “I Shook The Top 100 YouTuber’s Hands“.

Fidias equated hugging Musk to hugging his “favorite person in the world“. And finally, Elon agreed to do it.

Musk was in attendance for the 2022 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France. There he encountered a crowd of children enthusiastically requesting him to hug Fidias.  A clip of this encounter was tweeted by Fidas which caught Elon’s attention. Finally, Elon said, “Alright, if you want me to hug him I’ll hug him”.

“Will do it,” Elon replied, thus, making the YouTuber’s goal possible: only just a hug away. The fans and supporters would avidly be waiting for the YouTuber to hug his “favorite person in the world,” and put a glorious end to his enterprising task.
