The MSG Sphere is set to be open to the public on September 29. However, locals and tourists in Las Vegas got a sneak peek into its mesmerizing abilities as part of the 4th of July celebrations. From a giant eyeball to replicating the surface of the Earth itself, the MSG Sphere made some jaws drop. The video gaming community also noticed an uncanny resemblance between the Sphere and Fortnite, that has tickled some fancy. Popular player of the game SypherPK seems to think that the folks behind the Sphere are trying to mess with Fortnite Zero Point and that may not end well.
The City of Sins loves to challenge what’s reality, but fans believe this is one thing that should be left untouched.

Vegas lives for the flare. From shows of epic proportions to high-tech display boards all over the city, tourists are never short on things to watch in Sin City. The Madison Square Garden Company announced in 2018 that Vegas will receive yet another spectacular arena dedicated to music and arts. While most music venues are basically sports arenas, the MSG Sphere will cater specifically to music and art lovers. On July 4, 2023, onlookers were left stunned by the 16K LED displays that surround the dome.

However, not everyone is convinced that this Sphere is headed in the right direction. Fortnite players are fixated on one particular display that looked like Zero Point from the game.

MSG Zero Point? Community holding its breath
Fortnite streamer SypherPK took to Twitter after the display to highlight how the Sphere looked like the energy orb that is located at the center of the Fortnite universe. The streamer seemed pretty worried about what MSG’s goals are. “They’re messing with the Fortnite Zero Point. We’re finished.“, Sypher writes. With abilities to warp reality itself, Zero Point also has a will of its own.
