Hu Tao is receiving a lot of love from the community

Hu Tao is currently the hot topic for many players in the community. Although we didn’t see her in live action in the trailer, her cuteness was able to influence many players to summon for her. She will be another Waifu and polearm user coming to the game. She will belong to Pyro element and that itself increases her effectiveness a lot more.

miHoYo describes her as,” She took over the mantle of the director and started performing funeral ceremonies for the people of Liyue at a rather young age. Hu Tao may seem like all play and no work, but she treats the parlor’s operations with utmost importance.”

Her abilities could break Genshin Impact

Ganyu is by-far the most broken character in the game because of her charged shot. As a result, it is very necessary for miHoYo to introduce a character to take the spotlight away from Ganyu. It looks like Hu Tao could be the one to take away that throne. Moreover, Pyro element deals a lot more damage when it comes to elemental reaction.

Hu Tao’s normal attack will perform up to six normal strikes. Her charged attack will consume some of her stamina and will lunge her forward to deal some extra damage, just like Xiangling.

Hu Tao’s elemental skill, Guide to Afterlife, will make her consume a part of her HP while knocking nearby enemies and entering the Paramita Papilio State.

Paramita Papilio state increases Hu Tao’s base attack based on her maximum HP. All her attack converts into Pyro DMG and cannot be overridden by any other element. We should note that attack bonus gained in this state can’t exceed 400% of Hu Tao’s base attack.

During the Paramita Papilio state, her charged attack applies the Blood Blossom effect to the enemies it hits. When enemies get affected by Blood Blossom effect, they will take Pyro DMG in every four seconds.

Furthermore, her elemental burst, Spirit Soother, will be as devastating as her elemental skill. In her burst, Hu Tao will release a blazing spirit which will deal Pyro damage in large AoE. She will even regenerate a percentage of her maximum HP after hitting the enemies. Moreover, the damage and HP regeneration are increased if Hu Tao’s HP is below or equal to 50%.
