Gamers all across the world collectively rejoice as December brings an array of major updates and various title lunches as developers aim to end the year on a high note. Two industry heavyweights, Halo and Call of Duty, will battle it out for the crown with their new launches, Halo Infinite and Call of Duty: Vanguard respectively, to retain the title of the best FPS game of 2021 this winter season.

Both Call of Duty Vanguard and Halo Infinite were launched last month. While the former’s launch was known to the fans, the latter was a surprise release for the community. Coincidentally, Vanguard’s Season One kicks off tomorrow, alongside the official launch of Halo: Infinite.

Halo Infinite vs Call of Duty Vanguard: campaign comparison?

Call of Duty: Vanguard was released on November 5 with all its features available at the time of the launch. While the multiplayer has done seemingly well, the campaign has not been as impressive as expected. Even though the storyline was well-scripted, the execution was not up to par. Forbes rating the campaign said, “Great Story, Shame About The Gameplay”.

Which game offers a better Multiplayer experience & which title will prevail?

Season One of Sledgehammer Games’ battle royale begins tomorrow (December 8) and will pave for brand-new features in Vanguard as well as Call of Duty: Warzone (which will see a change in name to Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific). A new Pacific map, Caldera, will also be introduced in both the games along with a 24-hour long exclusive Caldera event and battle pass changes.

As for Halo, the Multiplayer Beta has been here for a week less than a month. The first season for Halo Infinite started early and tomorrow’s launch will enable players to carry over their beta achievements to the actual game for the first time in the franchise’s history.

With the reviews and ratings from both players and critics exceeding expectations for Halo, and the campaign making a name for itself, 343 might just have the edge with their title. The improvements and fixes have in the beta have also been impressive. And to the benefit of the fans, the developers, 343 Industries, have a record of working on the given feedbacks.
