As it turns out, there are some viewers who might not have played the game and didn’t mind getting a cinematic aid of it. And the impressive boost suggests this in the sales of TLOU on Amazon. As tweeted by the trusted Twitter account Hunter  (@NextGenPlayer), “The Last of Us Part II for PS4 is currently the #1 selling PS4 game on Amazon. The Last of Us Part I for PS5 is also surging in sales.”

This clearly suggests that the series has triumphed in welcoming audiences to experience the video game to the extent that it became the #1 selling PS4 game on Amazon at the time of writing. And it only seems to welcome more sales for PlayStation 5.

Certainly, the HBO series has cordially benefitted the video game as well as urging the ones who might have not played it in the first place to play the game.
