Metal Gear Solid director Hideo Kojima is a well-celebrated video game personality in the gaming industry. He has worked on a lot of projects, including the recent Death Stranding and the iconic Metal Gear Solid franchise.
Today marks the 20th anniversary of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, developed by Konami. Kojima tweeted out the same and reminded fans of the long journey that the game has covered. The director even tweeted a string of other engaging tweets, which makes us think about what Kojima has in store for players.

Kojima’s latest game, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, has been a great success and has been lauded by fans and reviewers. The director is known for his detailed world design and excellent use of cinematic qualities. He started his career as a games designer and writer for Kojima.
The very first game he developed was Metal Gear Solid 1, and then he went on to expand the franchise to encompass multiple titles. Hideo Kojima has even been connected with Silent Hill, the survival video horror game series.

However, in late 2015, Kojima decided to part ways with Konami and started his own studio dubbed Kojima Productions, and partnered with Sony Computer Entertainment. The studio’s very first game, Death Stranding, was a success that added another achievement to Hideo Kojima’s belt.

This brings us to the present. Hideo Kojima might be working on some secret project which we know nothing about, similar to how Death Stranding: Director’s Cut came as a surprise bombshell during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest. There are even some rumors hinting that the Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima may act as a consultant on the alleged Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake.
