Jimmy Donaldson uploaded his first video in February 2012 when he was 13 years old. At that time, his YouTube handle was called ‘MrBeast6000’ and he mostly uploaded gameplay videos in a series called ‘Let’s Play’.

However, his first taste of fame came about in January 2017 when he posted a video of himself counting numbers up to 100,00! As crazy as it sounds, it took him nearly 40 hours to complete this stunt, and the parts were sped up to 24 hours to not exceed YouTube’s upload limit. He also made a video called ‘Counting to 200,000 (Road to a Mil)’ the following month.

MrBeast is well known for pulling extreme stunts in his videos, such as using megaphones to shatter glass or attempting to stay underwater for 24 hours. While his content might have helped him gain good traction, he is also known for using his influence to help mitigate environmental problems.
