The title will follow the original characters in the late 1800s. And most of the loved and popular Harry Potter characters from the movies or even books for that matter won’t be there in Hogwarts at that time.

Interestingly, this fact also enables the developers to explore the hidden era of the wizarding world that hasn’t been touched by the golden franchise yet. Well, even so, there are a few caveats the title can definitely work with.

Who will be the headmaster in Hogwarts Legacy?

Speaking of Headmaster, if Dumbledore isn’t the one, then who could be the headmaster of the magical school? Well, less excitingly, fans can expect Phineas Neggullus Black (great-great-grandfather of Sirius Black III) to fill the role of headmaster in Hogwarts in the late 1880s. Yes, that’s right. One of the school’s least-loved headmasters will be there on the prominent position in Hogwarts Legacy, giving players a new angle to learn about him.

Although the game is supposed to follow the timelines quite strictly, it’s possible that the developers might throw in some familiar characters just for that extra fun.
