TenZ, one of the best Valorant players in the world, doesn’t spend as much money on in-game items and is actually quite sensible when it comes to making financial decisions. In a recent stream, he reviewed just how much he’d spent on Valorant so far, and turns out, it was only a tad over $1,500 (CAD).

To put things in perspective, SypherPK, the ever-popular streamer and Fortnite player, has a Fortnite closet that is worth around $25,000. And even with Valorant, countless people have thousand upon thousands of dollars on bundles and single items. So, how is it that one of the top players in Valorant has some great items in his inventory and also has managed to the keep amount of money he has spent on the lower side?

How does TenZ spend so little and also has great items?

TenZ only buys things that he knows he will use in matches. That is his secret. If he comes across an item, the first thing he asks himself is whether he would ever use it in a match, and if he would, he buys it. He also seems to like the color red. This is why most of the items he has are predominantly red. “I actually saved all my money and bought skins and bundles that contained red…red items,” he can be heard saying in the attached video.
