Call of Duty: Vanguard is the next Call of Duty title that gamers are going to get. A teaser for the upcoming shooter dropped yesterday, and a lot of people don’t seem to care as much as Activision would like them to. Battlefield 2042 and Halo: Infinite are two other shooters coming out this year. And the Call of Duty community seems to be shifting its focus from Call of Duty games to Halo: Infinite and Battlefield 2042. It’s almost like the community doesn’t care about Vanguard.

The community feels that Call of Duty Vanguard won’t bring anything new to the table. Battlefield 2042 and Halo: Infinite are both going to great lengths to ensure the games stand out in their own way. And Vanguard, on the other hand, seems very similar to previous Call of Duty World War titles.

Why is the Call of Duty community not excited about Vanguard?

Warzone

Some people seem to believe that since Warzone has had a lot of problems since its release, Vanguard might come with some problems too. And these people have noticed that Activision doesn’t always listen to players of their games and sometimes even lets issues persist. This might have played a role in lowering their excitement concerning the Vanguard.

Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042

Halo: Infinite is doing lots of new things this time to ensure a fresh experience. And Battlefield 2042 recently revealed the Battlefield Portal, a mode that is extraordinarily extensive and offers unfathomable levels of customizability. Moreover, with Warzone’s hacker problem, a lot of players are very eager to switch over to Halo and Battlefield. And this might be another reason why Vanguard isn’t generating a huge amount of buzz.

All that said, Vanguard’s future remains uncertain. It’s not all bad, since the reveal might feature a lot of things no one knew about the game, and that might get people excited. But, as for now, the Call of Duty community doesn’t seem super excited about the upcoming game.
