Pedro Pascal is a man of many talents, but one thing that he recently confessed in an interview with Vanity Fair is his non-proficiency in video games, and that too when it comes to The Last of Us. This comes as a shock for many as he is playing the lead role in the HBO Max series and is known for his method acting tropes.

But what if you are told that he is not wrong and that he actually was talking about the toughest, if not the scariest level of the game, making him one of many who have no idea how to make the best out of it?

Pedro Pascal says he was really bad at The Last of Us game

From projects like The Mandalorian and Game of Thrones, Pedro Pascal has gained a fanbase like no other. But the latest, The Last of Us, has caused him to see a totally different kind of fame, mostly because of the fact that he is playing the role of a fan-favorite fictional character from the game. And despite being known as a method actor for several of his roles, the role of Joel seems a bit too much to learn about from the game itself for him.

According to an interview that was conducted by Vanity Fair back in 2022, it was revealed by Pedro Pascal that he has never completed the game and is actually not very good at the skill of playing video games.

When asked, “You’ve been cast in the upcoming adaptation of the video game ‘The Last of Us.’ Can you tell me how to get out of the hotel basement level?” To which Pascal replied disappointedly, “No.”

However, he explained why it was so by saying, “I was really bad at the game. It’s not a skill I developed,” which is actually a very clever thing to say because fans of the game would know exactly how difficult it is to complete the level in one go, and for some, it is even more.
