A new Horizon Forbidden West adventure is under development

Guerilla Games is planning massive expansions for its valuable game. An online project is in development under the wings of the developer. They are planning on expanding the world of Horizon beyond Aloy’s solo adventures. We will soon witness an online transformation in which multiplayer modes and other online features would be available in the Horizon world.

A recent Job posting by developers Guerilla Games gave out this incredible news. The call for filling the developer’s open positions at the Amsterdam office officially declared the inception of an online project. They will soon make an internal team dedicated to developing the online project.

This does not mean the single-player mode will get side lined. The solo-player mode will also be under full-fledged development. The developers are planning to approach the Horizon world from multiple angles. This would cater to the needs of the gaming community which is filled with people who like different genres and modes of play. These new updates would mostly be released for PS5.

Fans are excited about the new online experience

After the news about the online project was out, fans were filled with joy. Many expressed their delight at seeing an online Horizon world.

The online mode mostly would not be including the storyline of Aloy, according to the official statement in the job posting. Most likely the game would be an expansion of the world, and who knows, maybe we will be able to see Aloy in it as well. This would take much time to release though.

In, the meantime fans can eagerly wait for Horizon: Call of the Mountain which is slated for release in February 2023. The game is set for the PlayStation VR2 headset. And as for the PC players, they would have to wait a long time for the Horizon franchise to come on PC.
