However, on Monday, Nibel made a shocking tweet from their locked account. The tweet mentioned the reason why they decided to leave Twitter altogether. “After some introspection, I’ve made the decision to focus my time and energy elsewhere and move on from Twitter.”

Moreover, Nibel had also posted a short blog in their now defunct Patreon. The insider raised questions on the new Twitter owner Elon Musk. They criticized Twitter’s leadership while writing that Musk is having “seemingly infinite immaturity”, according to Eurogamer.

“I don’t think that Twitter has yet experienced good leadership, and this trend will not change with Musk either. I do not trust the platform,” the blog read. They also wrote that, according to them, the social media platform will die a slow death in the future. And that it won’t remain the same going forward.

In case anyone missed to keep track of events, The Verge recently reported that Twitter will soon begin charging verified accounts for them to keep having the blue tick. They will need to spend $20 a month in order to stay verified or they will lose the blue tick.

Any account or brand having a blue tick indicates that it’s completely legitimate and authentic. Once the new announcement is made, existing verified users or accounts will lose their verification after a period of 90 days if they don’t pay for it.
