These glowy sticks can be very dangerous for anyone coming in contact with them. Indeed, a major weapon for the members of the Force and the Dark Side to fight!

MrBeast gets his taste of the Star Wars fandom with this real life lightsaber

Everyone must have had a dream to enact Anakin Skywalker or become a disciple of Obi-Wan Kenobi, just to live our Star Wars moment. Well, MrBeast can be considered lucky to some sort as he had a fair share of experience holding the real life lightsaber.

The man behind making this retractable lightsaber is Russian Alex Burkan. He also runs a channel called the Alex Lab. The lightsaber generates a plasma blade that is over one meter (3.28 feet) long. The blade has the potential to cut through steel at temperatures above 2,800°C (5,072°F).

The one that MrBeast used was from the Canadian Hacksmith Industries. It is the brainchild of YouTuber James Hobson. Hobson also created a lightsaber of their own, thus breaking the record for the first retractable proto-lightsaber.

The lightsaber created by Hacksmith Industries, unlike Alex’s, requires an external power source. Their lightsaber is powered by liquid propane and oxygen gas tanks that are connected to the lightsaber through a tiny backpack.

Speaking of Hacksmith’s lightsaber, Alex says, “The most crazy thing is that we made them almost simultaneously. Isn’t it cool that two guys from different parts of the world dream about one thing that doesn’t even exist?”
