Fortnite is known to frequently add new skins to the game. So far players have seen streamers like Ninja, LoserFruit, TheGrefg, and LazarBeam get skins in Fortnite. There have also been some musician skins added to the game. Another form of entertainer that Fortnite has collaborated with is actors. But the latest collaboration brings in a new type of skin to the game.

Lewis Hamilton in Fortnite

Lewis Hamilton, the Formula 1 legend, will be collaborating with the popular battle royale. This move takes another step words blending the game with popular elements from pop culture. Fortnite has a history of incorporating musicians, streamers, and athletes into the game. This time, they are looking towards Formula 1 and will be releasing two unique Lewis Hamilton skins to the game.

The official Fortnite Twitter page has teased the collaboration in a post. The post states “There are no limits. Transcend expectations. Break boundaries. The heroic Lewis Hamilton is joining the Fortnite Icon Series.” This has many fans of the game excited to see the new skin based on the F1 racer.  Fortnite is going beyond just a new character skin to embody the spirit of a sporting hero within the Fortnite universe.
