Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to have a mouthwatering number of suits and suit customization options. Insomniac Games‘ Spider-Man had 28 suits at launch. And unlocking these suits was part of the fun. Further, with the DLCs, there were more suits introduced. And as a major treat to players, it also included the Raimi suit, for free! The same feature was also available in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. And continuing the trend, the upcoming Spider-Man 2 will also have suits to be unlocked, along with customization options, albeit on a much bigger scale! Would you like to guess how many options will players have?

One of the suits which will be available in the game is the highly awaited Symbiote suit which first debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #252. While this suit will be integral to the story, there are lot more suits which can be unlocked. And with these customizations, players will be able to swing through New York City in style!

Fans are licking their lips at the idea of the symbiote’s entry into the franchise. However, there’s a lot more to be excited about. PlayStation revealed 65 different spider suits available for players. That’s right. Fans looking for a change from red and blue will be spoilt for choice. And that’s not even the whole story.

For these suits, PlayStation referred to the original Spider-man designs from comic books and films as inspiration. In addition to the suits available, Insomniac will also offer 200 customization styles with new features and color combinations for these suits. Previously developers spoke about how both the Spider-men will equally contribute to the storytelling of the game. Now players will have over 200 options to pick from, to decide how they want to look while saving the city.

Among all the stylish Spider-man suits, Insomniac’s symbiote suit appealed to fans the most for so many reasons. And its savage appearance is just the tip of the iceberg.

The symbiote suit will have its own skill tree offering different abilities to the players. For example, this symbiote suit will allow players to use tendrils for grabbing the enemies and smashing them on the ground with force. Additionally, players can use symbiote strike to cover the wall crawler with spikes so that he can push the enemy back, causing serious damage. However, the best ability has to be the symbiote surge, similar to Kratos’ Rage mode. 

And in the latest developments, Bully Maguire will be joining the game as well! The infamous symbiote suit dawned by Toby Maguire in Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 will also be available. Now while pummelling enemies, we can ask them, “gonna cry?”

From symbiote suit to more than 200 customization opportunities, players can swing through New York City, while looking however they want. And with all that the game has to offer, October 20th cannot arrive sooner.
