After the severe backlash from the community, there hasn’t been a firm response from the platform. Twitch made an apology on Twitter regarding the “language” in the new guidelines. But there has been no official update of any changes in the new policies. “We missed the mark with the policy language and will rewrite the guidelines to be clearer. But fans were more thrilled when the streamer announced the possibility of a stream dedicated to the protest of Twitch. “Might do a stream for fun just to protest Twitch lol”, he tweeted.
