There is a mysterious glitch haunting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans. The reason behind this is still unknown. This glitch has changed the name of the game “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ” to “iw8 ship”. The renaming has confused a lot of fans out there and they all cannot figure out the cause behind this.

It looks like the developers are not even aware of this glitch. They have released no information about this issue. As of now, this glitch doesn’t appear to be a major threat.

This is because the only thing that this glitch does is change the name of the game.

On the 9th of Dec 2021, one Reddit user that goes by the name of “gavin_bigred” shared this issue. Basically, he shared an image of the dashboard of his Xbox Series X console. In the image, the fans can see various other games like Call of Duty: Vanguard, Lawn Mowing Simulator, Halo Infinite (in updating state), and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare named as “iw8 ship”.

It’s been just a few hours since gavin_bigred shared this pic. However, it looks like many other fans are also facing the same issue. The Reddit post has already crossed over 40 comments followed by over 95% upvotes.

The fans have shown their concern about this game over the comment section of this post. One Reddit user that goes by the name of “u/Huge-Outlandishness2” says, “Your post cut off your joke, it just starts with “The more Warzone is updated, the more Modern Warfare falls apart” What was your joke? I bet it was funny!”

Fans think that this game is having difficulty coping up with all the new content that the developers are pumping in through updates.

In fact, it’s not just the Xbox Series X console owners who are facing this issue. Many other fans who have other gaming consoles like Xbox One and Playstation consoles are also facing this same issue. One PlayStation 4 user is having this same problem with Call of Duty: Vanguard.
