Pokemon games have been around for longer than many gamers can even remember. Nintendo’s biggest franchise has yet to see the day when a game released in this series does not break some kind of sales record.
The most recent games in the series, Scarlet and Violet, have sold over 10 million copies. These were launched only recently on November 18.

The Pokemon franchise, if some are believed, has very shallow RPG gameplay. While its fans explain that getting a Pokemon catching some in the wild and using them in battles against other trainers, is just the surface of these games.
You catch them, you can even breed two Pokémons, and then there are TMs. To its most loyal fans, this series is a lot more than just catching some wild monsters and turn-based battles. They have a decent story; players learn to be independent. They encourage players to make important decisions. Then comes the question of post-game content.
Players want better post-game content in Pokemon
Some players complain that there is a lack of post-game content in Pokemon games, and once you are done with the main story, there’s hardly anything to do. Now again series regulars remind people that Pokemon games have had some kind of post-game content in them.
They go on to remind everyone that Pokemon X and Y featured post-game champion quests and the looker missions. And according to some players, even pokemon Scarlet and Violet have post-game content in the form of Area Zero.

Now this debate has been very old. Gamers always measure the value of a game by the number of in-game hours they get. The number of variable missions and things to do they get in games decide for them if they would buy a game. Games like Pokemon by default have 30-50 hours of gameplay to them. And those hours usually depend on how one plays those games, and some people find it enough while others find it unsatisfactory.
There are franchises other than Pokemon that are chock full of content. So much so that people either leave the games halfway or they don’t even bother with anything other than the story itself.

So this debate keeps going on, from people measuring a game’s value by hours spent in it, to gamers who just value the quality of content they get. We hope these debates find an end someday. For that, we have to wait for the next game in the Pokemon franchise.
