Raven Software Issue Fresh Warzone Update Following Angry Reactions From Fans

Call of Duty Warzone witnessed the release of a brand new map in Warzone Pacific named Caldera. This is also the moment when full Call of Duty Vanguard integration took place with Warzone, Call of Duty’s iconic battle royale. However, this integration is filled with its own glitches. Raven Software, the studio responsible for the royale, has finally released a patch. Hopefully, these changes are in the right direction to fix the game.

Raven Software took to a Twitter post to inform players and fans of the community about the upcoming patch. They embedded a blog post outlining all the changes.

Warzone Caldera’s new patch
The newest rendition of Call of Duty Warzone was plagued with a plethora of problems upon release. Players reported a collision issue wherein interacting with various elements would allow them to use at as a line of sight to shoot foes. There is also another issue where players have managed to catch on a glimpse of something they are not meant to see just yet.

However, the crux of the update revolves around the weapon and attachment balancing. It appears that the Vanguard version of the iconic Russian weapon the PPSH is not in the right place. The developers feel that it is too strong at this point of time and is in need of a nerf.
The Black Ops Cold War variant of the Ak-47 received a small nerf as well. Due to its fast time to kill, the gun has had its Initial Recoil Deviation increased. It appears that the game has also taken into cognizance the frustration players feel when they get eliminated by something as trivial as melee weapons. Melee weapons in close quarters are extremely effective. In order to prevent it from being overused, the lunge distances of the number of melee weapons have decreased.

The game will also be working on the Bloom of the game as well. Moreover, the meta in a live-service game such as Warzone is ever evolving and has its win ecosystem. It is important for the developers to bring about changes to prevent things from being overpowered and keep the game fresh.
