Dave McCarthy, the Corporate Vice President of Xbox Players Service made the shocking announcement through a blog post. This comes as a major shock to the Microsoft console owners. The Xbox 360 will no longer be available post a decided date. This move comes as a huge turnaround of approach in Microsoft’s hardware advertising. According to the blog, Xbox 360 will face a complete shutdown post-July 29, 2024. This means players would not be able to access new games, DLC, or other content from the Xbox 360 market store. Adding to this, all the content-based media will be unavailable on the 360 console with effort from the announced date. It is to be noted that the users have been given a window of a few months to enjoy and buy new DLCs and games. But there would be a complete turn-off on any purchases from the 29th of July.
