Rust X Dying Light Collaboration to Offer a Unique Zombie Experience With a Free DLC

The break-out survival title of 2021, Rust has now come with an interesting collaboration in April 2021. Facepunch Studio released this multiplayer survival title back in 2018, after staying in the early access for nearly 5 years. The title found a new lease on life with the streamer-led servers that catapulted it into new heights of popularity. It attracted major names of the streaming world like Shroud, xQc, Myth to the game, and it is about to add an interesting limited-time free DLC event.

Dying Light X Rust-free DLC will last for one week
The developers rolled out an elaborate trailer for the upcoming collaboration. It will serve as a limited-time event and it will last for a week from April 19 to April 26 on PC only. Players will see a brand new range of weapons, bucket zombies, research bounties, intimidating bandits. Players can pick up blueprints of golden Rust weapons and other interesting items.
The title will see new Rais’ bandit outposts, which will offer lucrative rewards like C4 explosive bundles. It is quite possible that the same DLC will soon roll out for a limited time for the console as well.

Streamer led servers revived the title
The pandemic has brought many titles to the forefront that went overlooked. Titles like Among Us and Rust saw a positive boost in popularity that gave them the much-needed second wind. Rust became a breakout success in 2021, as Offline TV established a dedicated server for famous streamers. This effort became a prominent attraction for Twitch stars and viewers, as well.
Shroud, Pokimane, xQc, Myth, and Valkyrae, among many prominent figures jumped on the game. It was being seen as an unprecedented resurgence of a survival title that was quite similar to Among Us. The title attracted millions of views on Twitch and massively overshadowed many top-rated games that were available.
