Amidst a devastating league journey, Sentinels yet again has made a change to their Valorant roaster. The team which was expected to be one of the most dangerous in the league, fell short on many fronts. With championship and Masters winners on their side, Sentinels had a dream roster, but back-to-back losses have hindered their progress in the Americas League.

The wrecking loss against Evil Geniuses was the last nail in the coffin, and now Sentinels have parted ways with the former XSET icon.

While forming the team, SEN City thought that this squad would bring back the glory that was slipping Sentinels’ hand for the past years. But, after a successful bout against 100 Thieves, the Valorant roster fell short. In the last week, the team lost against Evil Geniuses, putting a choke hold on their Playoff dreams. According to George Geddes, Sentinels now have parted ways with their IGL Dephh.

Dephh came in as a replacement for ShahZam after the latter was released from the squad. He along with former XSET coach Sykko revamped the team into a dream roster. Additionally, Dephh was the person who through his IGLing carried XSET to glory at Valorant Champions Tour 2022, North America Stage 2 Challengers. But the success XSET celebrated was not reciprocated with Sentinels.

As a result, Sykko was first released from the team, and now Dephh has mutually parted ways with Sentinels according to George Geddes.

So what will happen to the Sentinels?

From the latest tweet shared by Sentinels’ official page, their marquee player TenZ is back in the starting five. He was on sabbatical due to Covid and his hand injury. Moreover, a few weeks ago SEN announced that Tyson won’t be back for this league. But, TenZ is rising to the occasion and is back on the main roster. Additionally, the team at the moment cannot rope in any talent from outside their franchise as transfer markets are closed.

So, for the last two matches, Sentinels will go with TenZ, Zekken, Sacy, paNcada, and Marved. We can expect Sacy to take the IGL role for the team, with Marved providing the necessary support. But, a last-minute change again would be tough for the team. Their dream for playoffs at the moment is intact with a slim thread. Sentinels need to win all their remaining matches and hope that EG losses all their upcoming matches.

100 Thieves also stand in between their playoffs dream. 100T too need to lose their upcoming fixtures, if Sentinels wants to qualify. If the head-to-head win is considered as a tiebreaker and SEN ties with 100T, they will have a final shot at glory. Sentinels will be facing KRU and Furia for their last two matches, of which we can expect the former to be ruled in favor of Sentinels.
