But a Fortnite streamer on Twitch called zylTV used his game of enjoyment for a heartwarming cause. And his hard work was being honored with many gamers coming to support his cause too.

Following his father’s cancer diagnosis, zylTV turned to Twitch to support his father’s treatment. He started streaming Fortnite for a period of 10 hours in a single day! zylTV’s father was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer that had since spread to his lungs and liver.

With a 20% survival rate, the hopes of survival for his father looked very meek. But the then 13-year-old streamer did not give up on his cause and raised $13,000 against all odds. And this came along with the help of people who noticed the Fortnite streamer raising awareness about his father’s condition.

The streamer didn’t neglect to show his audience the delight on his father’s face when he told him about the money. He showed his father what he’s been doing and all the donations people gave him in his stream. The Fortnite streamer informed his father that the money would cover all the fees for the flights and accommodation. Hearing all that his son was doing for him left his father speechless. When asked if he was pleased to hear it, his father could only nod in approval.
