GTA 6 fans are once again in the spotlight as fresh leaks have stormed the internet. For months, leakers, data miners, and avid fans have done their best to bring out snippets of one of the biggest games in history, GTA 6. But sadly, none of them have succeeded in proving it, as Rockstar has remained tight-lipped about their upcoming title.

For instance, it was informed to the fans about leaks pertaining to characters, storylines, graphics, and more in the past. One of the biggest incidents was the ’17-year-old boy controversy’ – where the hacker leaked hours of GTA 6 footage to the world.

But despite everything, there was little credibility in all the information to be true. However, it now looks like the rumors have stepped up their game, talking about the mechanics of the game. Sometime back, a Twitter user revealed information about RAGE – Rockstar’s game engine, and now, we have some added updates supporting the information.

Fresh GTA 6 leaks feature possible game mechanics that might be used during development

On February 26, 2023, an avid Rockstar insider, ‘Gaming Detective,’ posted a video about GTA 6. He featured a virtual representation of RAGE – the engine that Rockstar would use while developing Grand Theft Auto 6. The video showcased a block of ocean surface and floor designed using RAGE.

To explain in detail, it is almost impossible to point out whether it was virtual or something real. The ocean waves glided swiftly through the floor, passing peacefully through the rocks. Plus, one could easily point out the merging of two sea stacks, featuring how the waves would respond to one another on collision.

The visual representation shows how the 9th version of RAGE would look during production. Gaming Detective said it out loud in his post as he received major backlash from users. However, some of them were quite happy to witness something like this, as no one had seen it before. “That is so freaking cool,” one of the users commented.

Apart from this leak, Gaming Detective also mentioned Aleix Venturas who had spoken about RAGE sometime back. Here’s what he said in the tweet, “Thread – What we at @Rockstar_Mag’ know about the next version of the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (known by the acronym RAGE 9) which was designed for the development of #GTAVI.”
