To earn the best console title in the gaming industry, we have already seen an ever-lasting tussle between famous console franchises. Indeed, in order to attract maximum users to their product, they have to stand out more than their competitors. PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo have already fascinated several users with their new-gen consoles.

However, it’s a hard task to improve constantly and allure more users through brand-new features. Interestingly, Shaq reviewed popular controllers and handhelds from such aforementioned franchises back in 2018. Shaq is an American former professional basketball player who is a sports analyst on the television program Inside the NBA.

Furthermore, he is still arguably one of the most recognizable basketball players on the planet, alongside Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and LeBron.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn also became a hot topic in the community back when it was first released. Owing to his big muscular physique, Shaq went quite hard on reviewing these products.

Xbox “The Duke” controller

The first controller that the interviewer pulled out was Xbox “The Duke” controller. He also described the Duke by saying, “Right here, this is the Duke. Since Shaq is known for his big physique, he was quite attracted to the Duke controller; he rated the controller 9 out of 10. In his own words, “I like it, I like it. Pretty good. Ya, I like it.”

PlayStation Wu-Tang controller

Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style, released as Wu-Tang: Taste the Pain in PAL regions, is a fighting game for the Sony PlayStation console. Owing to its immense success, PlayStation released a limited-time Wu-Tang controller edition back in the day. Although it didn’t receive many great reviews for its performance, several Wu-Tang fans wanted to get their hands on it..

The interviewer even mentioned the Wu-Tang controller as “One of the most uncomfortable controllers ever made.” Interestingly, Shaq revealed during the interview that he loves Wu-Tang and rated the controller as 7 out of 10.

PlayStation 4 controller

While reviewing every controller, Shaq kept asking for the Turbo feature in each one. This proves that Shaq has a keen eye for controllers. Surprisingly, Shaq was quite rough on rating the iconic PS4 controller and rate it 7 out of 10, the same as the Wu-Tang controller.

In his defense, he stated, ” Little too small for my hands, but I’m not the oversize guy. I will give it 8 out of 10.” He further added, ” Actually no digital readout. I’m gonna take points off there.” In the end, Shaq rated the PS4 controller 7 out of 10.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Con

After reviewing several PlayStation and Xbox controllers, the interview pulled out the popular Nintendo Switch Joy Con. Unfortunately, the Joy-Con was unable to impress Shaq because of its smaller build. Shaq stated, ” Oh my gosh. It’s the worst one. I will probably give this a 5 out of 10.”

GameBoy Micro

Out of all the controllers, GameBoy Micro attracted Shaq the most at first glance. The GameBoy Micro was released in 2005 and introduced a new way for people to play Game Boy Advance games. It’s very expensive due to the high demands, rarity, and availability of the game and is available to buy anywhere from $125 to $449.

Shaq said,” Oh, that’s nice. It’s nice. I like it.” He even enjoyed playing Super Mario Brothers on the GameBoy Micro. In the end, Shaq rated it 7 out of 10 despite facing trouble with its small size.
