Hogwarts Legacy features an original storyline based on the wizarding world. This game would be set a century before the events of the novels and movies. It would revolve around a fifth-year Hogwarts student who would have to fight evil forces like goblin rebellion and dark wizards.

Although the game has the framework for the main storyline, players would be the ones to give the final shape to this framework. They would be free to choose the sidequests and how to shape their in-game character. If players want, they can also try to become a dark wizard, like Voldemort.
