The recently launched Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has quickly become one of the year’s most highly praised and finely crafted games. Offering a vast open world to explore and a captivating narrative, Tears of the Kingdom delivers a truly immersive experience. However, this doesn’t mean the game was entirely flawless.
While there were no significant bugs present upon release, there were a few glitches scattered throughout the game. These were exploited by some players, providing them with an unfair advantage. One of the most notable glitches was the duplication glitch. Unfortunately, this exploit has been effectively addressed and rendered unusable by the recent patch.

Nintendo has recently rolled out a patch that specifically focuses on eliminating almost every known duplication glitch present in the game. Although the official patch notes do not explicitly mention the removal of these glitches, players who were quick to discover and exploit them in the game’s initial release will find that all methods of duplicating items have now been removed after the latest update.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Could Be the Last Major Project for Nintendo’s 60-Year-Old Genuis as He Wonders – “Should I Be Doing This at My Age?”
The recent Version 1.1.2 patch for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom tackled various glitches, including the widely-known arrow glitch that allowed players to duplicate items fused with arrows, as well as the weapon and shield glitch, among others.

Although the patch notes didn’t specifically mention these fixes, they did mention some issues such as excessively loud sound in “certain conditions” and a progression stoppage bug that occurred in the Depths quest that used to happen due to a glitch in the camera work.
While these specific bugs were addressed, Nintendo stated that several improvements were made to enhance the overall gameplay experience. Aside from these glitches, TOTK has been receiving exceptional reviews and minimal criticisms, making it nearly flawless. The game’s popularity is evident, with over 10 million copies sold within three days of its release.
