September 23, 2021, dawned the production of the movie by releasing the entire cast. Furthermore, Chris Patt will be playing the lead role of Mario. Finally, the production company has revealed something about the movie since then.

Illumination’s portfolio caught the attention of the fans. Surprisingly, the portfolio shows the title of the Mario movie to be “Super Mario Bros.” Illumination is partnered with Nintendo to produce the movie which will be published by Universal Pictures. The movie will be an animated adaptation of the popular game Mario.

Although, except for the update, none of the partners have officially announced or confirmed the title. Notably, the “Super Mario Bros,” was actually a live-action feature film of the 90s that couldn’t perform as per the expectations. Therefore, this could be an attempt to amend the loose ends of the past.

Along with Chris Patt, Jack Black and Seth Rogan will be voicing the characters Bowser and Donkey Kong.  Illumination has produced amazing animated movies in the past. In addition, Minions, Despicable Me, and Sing are some renowned animation franchises produced by the studio house.
