Valorant has become one of the most highly regarded multiplayer shooters of current times, and it has done so in a short amount of time. A new patch for the game is set to release today (July 7), and it won’t bring huge changes to the game. Valorant also got a big update, a new episode, very recently, so maybe it is not completely unexpected that the game isn’t getting another huge update. The update comes in the form of a small patch that solves some of the issues that the game currently has.

Valorant: what to expect from the new patch?

Every time a major update is brought to the game, some issues are expected to arise. It’s no different for the Episode 3 Act I update. The new patch 3.01 will fix quite a few issues to ensure players get the optimal experience. Here some of the major things the patch fixes:

  1. The first fix concerns Sage. Sometimes players will place Barrier Orbs on projectiles while the projectile is still in the air. This patch fixes that. And now Sage will not be able to place Barrier Orbs on some projectiles while they are in the air.
  2. The second fix concerns Syke. Syke will no longer be able to use the flash of Guiding Light while suppressed.
  3. The third one doesn’t let you heal KAY/O while downed in NULL/CMD

These were some of the major Agent updates, along with these, there were also some social and progression fixes. The major ones are:

  1. Some people were complaining that player names showed as question marks, and Riot Games looked into it and now it’s fixed.
  2. In custom games, there were some minor problems regarding the overlapping of the invite button UI and the Defender Coach UI, that’s been fixed as well.
  3. Some visual issues caused problems with account leveling at the end of the game, Riot fixed that.
  4. The last major fix is related to account leveling as well. Players sometimes would get a lower level than expected, and Riot has fixed that.

These are some of the major fixes that the patch will provide. Curious people, who want to know what other fixes are coming can check the game’s official page.
