Call of Duty Vanguard is the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise. The official announcement for the game confirmed that this time the game was going to be called Vanguard. And players are excited about the launch of the game. Vanguard is being developed by Sledgehammer, and the release date is still a fair amount of time away. And there’s a lot to learn about the game while fans of the franchise wait for the game to drop.

Call of Duty Vanguard recently got its much-awaited worldwide reveal in Warzone, which was no short of amazing. Players got answers regarding how the game is expected to look and what the release date was going to be, among other things. The game is expected to release on November 5. Focus

The setup for the campaign of the game will be centered on the events that transpired during the Second World War. While older World War titles focused on known battles, this time the game will focus on some of the other conflicts that took place and that have, for one reason or the other, been forgotten about. The campaign will offer people the scope for battle in iconic locations in Europe, the Soviet Union, Hawaii, and a few other places.

Multiplayer maps

The multiplayer mode is an aspect Call of Duty players have come to expect from the franchise. And Vanguard will definitely have one. At launch, the game will come with 20 multiplayer maps. Moreover, among those 20 multiplayer maps, 16 will allow 6v6 combat.

Developers

This time Activision has bestowed the responsibility of developing Vanguard upon Sledgehammer Games. Sledgehammer Games has made Call of Duty titles in the past. And these are the titles they are associated with: Call of Duty: WWII, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Given their experience in making Call of Duty titles, fans can rest assured Vanguard has been in good hands.

Characters

Players will be able to get a different look at the war through the various eyes of the different characters. The characters that have been revealed thus far are Arthur Kingsley, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson, and Lucas Riggs. These characters are based on real-life people from the time of the war who have come to be known heroic deeds. And the antagonist of the campaign mode will be Heinrich Freisinger.

The game will also have a Zombies mode. Unfortunately, no information is available about the mode at this time. Plus, CoD players will be glad to learn that Gunsmith will also be a feature accessible to them in the game.
