E3 was celebrated earlier this year in June amidst the Summer Games Fest. Typically this is the biggest gaming event of the year where most of the big releases take place. However, in recent years, E3 has lost its charm with regard to important announcements. This year, the event was more of the same with long press conferences just to showcase short trailers. As a result, Gamescom 2021 has the potential to be the biggest gaming event this year.
Gamescom 2021 begins August 24th and features over 70 developers. Over the three days, major developers like EA, Activision, Blizzard and other will be showcasing what they have been working on.

Why Gamescom 2021 will outshine E3
The event will kick off with the Xbox and Bethesda showcase. 343 Industries has not showcased any gameplay related to Halo Infinite’s campaign mode since the 2019 disaster. It is one of the games than fans were longing to see at E3 but was not present. In addition to this, Microsoft is rumored to be unveiling more information regarding Hellblade 2.
EA is another major developer that will be in attendance at the E3 conference. They will definitely be the most exciting developer present at the show due to the lineup of games they have in store. Some of the names include FIFA 22, Battlefield 2042, Grid Legends and more. There is even a new season of Apex Legends and Knockout City to look forward to.
