With Surprisingly Light PC Requirements and a Short Film, Battlefield 2042 Looks Set to Rule the Roost for Years to Come

The amount of hype surrounding the release of Battlefield 2042 is astounding. And EA continues to further build hype for their upcoming game by announcing a short film that premieres on August 12. The playtests for the game will begin on the same day, and this time, some lucky gamers will get to play the game on the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. And it will delight PC players when they learn they won’t need a supercomputer to play the game. And when the game comes out, there will be no stopping it!

The official tweet garnered a huge response from fans of the franchise, and the consensus seems to be that releasing a short film prior to the release of the actual game is a good way to get gamers even more excited.
