Xbox is in the limelight again. Only this time, it has nothing to do with a game release. It’s not about Game Pass, or a new console or anything on those lines. Xbox has made the headlines again, but this time, for lighting up ‘Sin City’. Well, there isn’t a better visual than watching a gaming representative literally shine bright in the night sky of an entire city!

The Xbox fans aren’t strangers to some previously implemented grand marketing tactics. However, the company likes to surpass its own set standards every time, and it has taken center stage in Las Vegas. An advertising campaign that only establishments like Microsoft can pull off just made Vegas turn all green and how? A spectacular advertising visual that the world was fortunate to witness.

Microsoft Xbox has been in the headlines for a while now for so many reasons. The release of Bethesda’s Starfield, the Microsoft-Activision deal, plans to expand Xbox Game Pass, the list is long. However, this time, Xbox went to Vegas! And what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas.

On October 19, Microsoft flexed its Xbox logo on the very popular Las Vegas Sphere. And it wasn’t just the logo that featured on the sphere. Starfield, arguably the biggest release of 2023 also featured during the visual advertisement. Other games that made an appearance were Cyberpunk 2077, and Forza. It was followed by a series of Xbox X/S lines of consoles. A page shared a glimpse of the advertisement on X (formerly Twitter).

However, the highlight has to be the Starfield tease. Apparently, the Xbox exclusive has made a strong case for the console stand in the console rivalry this year. So, there couldn’t have been a bigger, better stage for something like this.

For those who are unaware, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city is this spherical building, which is situated in Nevada close to the Las Vegas Strip. And it’s easy to see why this venue was chosen for something like this. However, surely not all brands can afford to go big on something like this.

To all the enthusiasts, probably wondering why only a few companies are able to pull off advertising on the structure, it has a lot to do with the cost. Undoubtedly, Microsoft is a top-tier industry giant in not just the gaming but overall technological industry. Thus, the community always associates such grand marketing stunts with the Xbox parent company. But how much could such a stunt cause to the organization?

According to reports, The Las Vegas Sphere charges around $450,000 per day in advertising. Costing almost half a million, this makes the structure one of the most expensive places to place your advertisement. Recently, even MrBeast had shown interest in marketing at the Vegas structure. If anyone from YouTube has to pull this off, it has to be MrBeast!
