The Maverick, Logan Paul, is one of the most famous YouTubers on the planet, ranking amongst the top 10 on Forbes’ list of highest-paid YouTube stars. The YouTuber turned boxer, investor, amongst other things, is also famous for his variety of projects, with the latest being Prime Hydration with his former nemesis and English YouTuber, KSI.

As many fellow Mavericks might know, Logan has always enjoyed playing video games. But his true interest has always lied in making videos and vlogging. However, the YouTuber does seem to agree with the harmful effects of video game addiction. In an interview in 2019, Logan Paul answered an interesting question and claimed video games are “maybe worse” than drugs and alcohol addiction.

In April 2019, Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, spoke about the negative effects caused by Epic Games’ frontrunner Fortnite. The Prince said, “It’s created to addict and keep you in front of the computer for as long as possible,” as per BBC. He even suggested banning the game.

Following this, Logan shared his interesting take on Prince Harry’s opinion while talking to a reporter. Logan was asked for his opinion on the subject. He started off by talking about his first experience with addiction and revealed he was addicted to World of WarCraft as a child.

The highlight of the interview was Logan’s answer to the question of the hour, “Do you think that video games are as addicting as drugs and alcohol?”. He, after carefully understanding the question, claimed, “Yeah. Yeah, for sure… maybe worse,” leaving everyone astonished. He then added, “you get sucked into a into a… proper video game hole, you’re f*****.”

Additionally, talking about how this will affect Gen Z’s ability to differentiate between reality and the virtual world, Logan stated, “I think VR is gonna f*** everything up, to be honest with you. If video games are a stepping stone for that, yeah, that’s very possible.”
