One reason for the popularity of his channel can be attributed to the insane cash prize he gives away to hoards of participants in his challenge videos. However, while organizing one of those challenges, a mishap has taken place. This has raised questions on the safety issues in the over-the-top challenges MrBeast organizes.

MrBeast latest shoot results in minor injuries to contestants

The latest video from the YouTube King resulted in minor injuries to the contestants, according to a report from TMZ. He was filing his latest challenge video in which he was organizing Olympic-style events. MrBeast is known for organizing these insane video challenges like his Squid Game video or him pitting every age group from one to hundreds against each other.

This video in production too was one of his insane ideas for a contest. Participants from all over the world were taking part in the Olympic-style event. Players were participating in one of the running events with hurdles and obstacles.

However, this event turned messy due to unknown reasons resulting in several participants sustaining injuries. A representative from the MrBeast team stated, “MrBeast was working on an upcoming video with athletic challenges, and there were three minor medical issues out of almost 200 participants. Medical personnel attended to the people immediately and released them shortly after.”

The team has since resumed filming of the video. They have also strengthened the security and safety measures of this video for the remaining contestants. However, the critics are still pinning the incident on MrBeast’s team for negligence. But with MrBeast’s team taking accountability for the incident along with heightened security, there will possibly not be incidents like this further.
