‘F It. Ja’Marr’s Down There Somewhere’: Joe Burrow Joins the Meme Bandwagon After Leading Bengals to AFC North Glory

Quarterback Joe Burrow is having a blast of a season with the Cincinnati Bengals. Mostly what has been a delight to watch is to see the partnership between Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. The two have unleashed their beast against a lot of teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday afternoon.
The Bengals with, the win, snapped an eight-game winning streak of the Chiefs yesterday. Also asserted their dominance over the AFC North division. The loss proved to be a big setback for the Chiefs. They got stripped of their No. 1 seed in the AFC, which now is taken over by the Tennessee Titans.

Burrow, however, is much appreciative of his former LSU teammate (now Bengals receiver) Ja’Marr Chase. Since he believes that there have been numerous occasions when he had just tossed the ball up in the air with the hopes that Ja’Marr will be down there somewhere, and the receiver has picked them up too.

The quarterback during his post-game conference embraced that spirit, referring to the popular meme. “Everyone knows that meme, you know…”, Burrow said. “‘F it, Ja’Marr’s down there somewhere, I’m just gonna throw it up to him and he’s gonna make a play.'”

Although, the meme originally featured the Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. But certainly, with a new year, there comes a new narrative. And this narrative has been starred by the Bengals star Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. There are certainly newer and younger stars on the rise, and they look sharper than ever.
