In the Formula 1 2022 summer break, headlines are coming at us thick and fast. Williams announced an F1 test for the F2 driver, Logan Sargeant, at the Austin GP. However, the better half of Alex Albon, Lily Muni He has attempted to make a case for herself for the other seat at the British constructor.

The Chinese professional golfer often accompanies Albon to various Grand Prix, but had never gotten to see the world from inside the F1 cockpit. That changed at the Hungaroring.

When she got behind the wheel of FW44, Muni He shared her experience on her Instagram, writing, “Too much oversteer in sector 3. Got some work to do.”

The Thai-licensed racing driver shared advice for her by commenting, “Have you tried going one step softer on rear anti roll bar?”

The professional golfer replied, “also tried lower tire pressures but no luck, tyre temps were”

Lily Muni He continued the banter by captioning her Instagram story, “Very shocked at how small @alex_albon’s butt is.”

Williams signed a multi-year deal with Alex Albon that keeps him with them for the 2023 season and beyond. On the other side of the garage, there is no update on Nicholas Latifi‘s future in the sport and his contract runs out by the end of this season.

In an interview with USA Today, the Thai-British racing driver shared his story of meeting the Chinese golfer. He said, “The story goes … she watched “Drive to Survive.” I wasn’t in “Drive to Survive” at the time. She got into the sport at the same time that I was getting into golf. The first time I picked up a golf club was maybe the beginning of 2019. You could say our interests collided.”

“We met through social media and I was just kind following how she was doing, and she was following how I was doing, and one thing led to another and we met up in LA. It was a week after I had a race in Texas. We played some golf together and that’s how it all got started.”
