Ten years ago, “The Formidable Sebastian Vettel wins in India, wins in 2013” were the words of David Michael Croft aka Crofty when Sebastian Vettel won his fourth championship in Formula 1 with Red Bull. The back-to-back championships from 2010 to 2013 showed the world the stature of the German. Coming back to 2023, ten years later, Seb isn’t a part of F1 anymore. As much as it hurts an F1 fan to realize this, Vettel’s new social media avatar gave them some kind of solace. As their beloved superstar went through a makeover recently, fans can’t help but gush over him.

A recently surfaced photo on Twitter showed a new avatar Vettel has taken up. While it’s nothing out of the ordinary, the Red Bull star’s fans are going gaga over it. Vettel has decided to chop off his beard and trim down his curls. Now, his visit to the saloon with a white tee and a smile is all his fans want to talk about.

The photo of Vettel, smiling, was uploaded on social media with a “Thanx for the chat champ! Keep em curls flowing until next time” caption. If not anything else, the former Aston Martin driver does look like he’s gotten a lot younger with the shave.

Vettel bid farewell to the sport after the final race in Abu Dhabi last year. Despite giving the sport so many years, he, however, received backlash for one of his recent choice. As the German left his racing overalls, he retired as the man with the fourth most F1 titles [joined by Prost], third most race wins [53 wins], and fourth most pole positions [57].
