Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger were one of the most spoken-about couples back in the day. The former world champion and The Pussycat Dolls singer regularly made the headlines. One such incident was when Hamilton spent a fortune on a birthday gift for Nicole.

Hamilton spent $131,705 on a Porsche Cayman for Nicole’s 31st birthday. He also got the license plates customized, with the pussycat dolls logo. A source speaking to The Sun said, “Nicole has always wanted a Porsche and Lewis thought it was a fitting gift”. 

The source added, “She was over the moon.”

The two were so close at one point that rumors of the two getting married were flying around. However, two dated for about 8 years before they eventually split.

Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger dated on and off for years. During one of their breaks, Nicole dropped Hamilton’s birthday gift to her; a customized Porsche Cayman. The Briton spent a pretty penny on the car, well over $100,000.

However, regardless of how much Hamilton spent on her gift, Nicole returned the car when the couple went on one of their breaks. She went back to using her Bentley Continental GT after returning the Porsche.

The duo met in 2007 at the MTV EMAs and they dated on an off for 7 years before finally calling it quits in 2015. In 2017, Lewis while speaking to The Sun, hinted at the reason behind his break-up with Nicole.
