Daniel Ricciardo is the ideal option for any relationship since the passionate Australian is just like water and can adapt his appearance and demeanor to the situation. Along with showing off his driving prowess, the Honey Badger is a savvy businessperson. Eight-time Grand Prix champion last year collaborated with Australia’s most renowned winemaker, St. Hugo. The Partnership has produced excellent outcomes and Peter Munro, the CEO of St. Hugo, recently highlighted what is the main factor that Ricciardo brings to a relationship.

The initial D3 x St. Hugo bottling sold out more quickly than anticipated. In reaction to a fantastic reception and the wine running out of stock, Daniel Ricciardo recently launched a wine called Ric Red. The $50M man has expanded the Dr3 x St. Hugo line with the Ric Red. In the past two years, the two of them have gotten along fairly well.

In the interview with Drink Hacker, Munro mentioned the one factor that is responsible for this true partnership is Ricciardo’s personality. The cooperation was further discussed by St. Hugo Chief. He said, “What I like about this collaboration is I think it is a true collaboration. We are getting great leverage out of Daniel.”

“We love his personality and what he brings to the brand, but Daniel’s also getting a really good education in wine out of it. For me, that collaboration aspect is really important. So, anyone that I want to work with, you want them invested in what you’re doing. Daniel loves wine and that’s why it works. If you had someone who came in just because of their personality, I don’t think you’d get the same result.”

Daniel Ricciardo reveals what made him choose Wine Deal

Ricciardo split his time between his racing obligations and wine marketing initiatives in the previous year. Prior to the US GP, the Australian put on a wine tasting to promote a product that was initially exclusively sold in his native Australia. In the collection are the DR3 St. Hugo 2020 South Australia Shiraz and the Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon from 2018. There are two different retail prices of $70 and $80. On a Zoom chat with Variety, Ricciardo explained how he discovered the deal and why it was “perfect.”

Ricciardo said, “I’ve gotten a lot of opportunities and requests [for brand partnerships], especially over the last few years but as much as the sport is international. I obviously am very much Australian and love home and so the opportunity to do something with an Australian brand carried a little more emphasis for me. I got to first meet St. Hugo through the F1 world and it was just kind of perfect.”
