The 2021 F1 season was one for the history books. It has all the makings of a great season, the heated rivalry, the incidents, but shrouding it all was controversy. And this is all because the title decider between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen ended in a very debatable manner. The defeat was exceptionally tough on the 7-time world champion, losing out on the record-breaking 8th drivers’ title in such a fashion.

Lewis Hamilton returns to F1

After Abu Dhabi, the Briton wanted to spend some time away from the sport. However, he is back in the thick of it now. In a recent tweet, he appreciates his fans for helping him on his way back to F1.

His fans showed their support by replying to the tweet. One fan said Good luck for this weekend and for the season ahead. You can always rely on the support of #TeamLH

 

Another fan said, “We’re always going to keep supporting you and sending positivity your way!”.

Lewis Hamilton is the sports biggest icon and has one of the largest fan bases in the world. His army of fans has supported him throughout his career and will continue to do so well beyond his time on track.
